Dell Command Update is an application that should come pre-installed on your machine. It is what you will use to perform system and driver updates. These updates are important for optimal laptop performance.
To use the application, go to the search bar at the bottom of your screen and type in "Dell Command Update" then press the "Enter" key.
Once the application is opened, click the blue "Check" button to check for updates. This may take a minute.
Depending on how many updates there are, a list should populate with checkmarks depending on what updates have been pulled.
Once you are ready, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Install." If there are any updates that require a restart, you may check the "Automatically restart system (when required)" box.
When the updates have finished, you may need to restart your system depending on the contents.
