How to Set New RHIT Account Credentials


When your new RHIT account is created, you will receive an email from the EIT Service Desk with your new RHIT username and instructions on how to set the credentials. This email will be sent to the personal email address you provided to HR, Admissions, Registrar, Graduate Studies, or your Affiliate Sponsor.


To set your credentials:

  1. Open a web browser and go to https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com
  2. Enter your new RHIT email address username@rose-hulman.edu and click Next.
  3. Click the Email button to receive a verification code at the personal email address you provided.
  4. Enter the verification code and click Next.
  5. Set a password for your new RHIT account.
We strongly recommend that you log in at https://aka.ms/mysecurityinfo to add the Microsoft Authenticator App and/or a personal phone number for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) methods and to confirm your recovery email address.
