Email Alias Standards for Outlook
To ensure consistency and ease of identification within our email system, email addresses are assigned to students and employees upon account creation. The email address for employees and students is generally username@rose-hulman.edu. However, the following email aliases are automatically assigned and may also be used:

You can view a list of your active aliases within Outlook by following the steps below.
1. From Outlook open your Address Book.
2. In the search bar enter your first and last name and press enter.
3. Double click on your name in the list of results.
4. Select the E-mail Addresses tab at the top of the new page.
NOTE: If you update your preferred name in Banner Web and wish to have an alias assigned using your preferred name as you first name, you must submit a service request to EIT requesting this update.
