A group voice mail account at Rose-Hulman can be accessed by members of the same department who would like to monitor a common voice mail box in Outlook.  When a voice mail comes in, anyone who has access to the group voice mail will be able to listen to it.  If you are faculty or staff at Rose-Hulman and you would like to add a group voice mail account to Outlook, please do the following:

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Click the File Tab.  Then click Account Settings.
  3. Click the Email Tab.
  4. Under Name it should list your Rose-Hulman email account. Click your email address and then click the change button.
  5. A change account box will open.  In the bottom right-hand corner, click More Settings.
  6. Click the Advanced Tab. Then click Add.
  7. Type in the name of the voice mail account to add.  Then click Add.  (If you do not know the name of the voice mail account, you can search for it in the Outlook Address Book.)
  8. Once the account is listed, click Apply.  Then click OK.
  9. Click the Next Button.  You should receive a screen saying “You’re all set.  We have all the information we need to set up your account.” Click Finish to finalize the set-up.
  10. Check your Outlook Inbox to see if the new group Voice mail account is displayed.  It may take a few moments for any current voice mails to populate in the new account.
